All prices quotes on this website are in Austraian Dollars and include GST. Prices may change at our discretion and without notice.
Credit Card
We accept Visacard and Mastercard via Paypal. You will be redirected to the paypal site to securely process your transaction and will be returned to abbeyj.com.au. You do not need to be a registered user of Paypal to use this facility. Please note we do not view or store your financial details at any stage.
Bank Deposit
You will be provided with the required banking details during checkout for this payment method. Please use your order number as reference when depositing your funds. Orders will not be sent until payment has cleared in our account. If payment has not been received within 5 days, your order will be cancelled.
Cheque or Money Order
You will be provided with the required details and postal address during checkout for this payment method. Orders will not be sent until payment has cleared in our account. If payment has not been received within 7 days, your order will be cancelled.
Current Stock
We try to ensure that the website is updated to show only products available for purchase using our inventory control. If however, you do purchase an item we are unable to supply, you will be notified and offered a back order, replacement or refund.
Delivery Times
Please allow between 7 to 10 business days for your order to be made and posted. During busy periods (eg Christmas, Mother's Day) this may be longer. If you require an urgent order, please email us to ensure that your order can be completed within your required time frame. Please check our Facebook page for updates on current turnaround times.

Designs
We reserve the right to alter any design shown on this website. Beads, ribbons etc are subject to availability. Due to the handmade nature of our products, there may be some slight variation from the image shown. We will contact you if your design will be dramatically different to that pictured on the website.
Sizing
Photo Bracelets
All Photo Bracelets are stretch bracelets and are made to the average size of 19cm. If you require a different size to this, please let us know when placing your order.
All other Bracelets
To determine the bracelet size your need, take a firm measurement of your wrist with a soft flexible measuring tape (eg dressmakers). If you don't have a measuring tape you can use a ribbon or a piece of string, mark the length then measure with a ruler.
To allow for the clasp, please add 1 - 1.5cms to your wrist measurement for a baby or child's bracelet and 2 - 2.5cms for an adult's bracelet. This is the size you should order.
If you are purchasing a bracelet as a gift and are unable to obtain a measurement, please use our guide below for assistance.

Depending on the bead configuration of your bracelet, it may have a slight variation from the size you ordered by no more than 0.5cm. Your bracelet may look slightly different than the photos on our website due to difference in sizing, number of birthstones (mother & grandmother bracelets) and length of name (baby name bracelets).
Our Fine Quality
Sterling Silver - Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver metal and 7.5% other metals, usually copper. Sterling silver is a quality material, though it will tarnish when in contact with airborne sulphur and sulphide pollutants, keep in mind the colour will not wear down as plated items may.
14 karat Gold Filled - 14kt gold filled items have a minimum 1/20 gold content and contain a surface of karat gold much thicker than gold plating. Gold filled items are extremely durable, are suitable for people with allergies and should last a lifetime if cared for properly.
Swarovski Austrian Crystals & Pearls - Only authentic Swarovski crystals and pearls are used in our jewellery. There is simply no equal to the magnificent cut and sparkle you get with swarovski beads.
Handmade Polymer Clay Beads - Each of these feature beads are handmade so no two will be exactly the same. Fragile parts of the beads have been reinforced with liquid clay and wire.
Cats Eye Beads - Cat's Eye beads are made from "Optic Fibre" and have a band of light running through the centre of them which makes them glow and resemble cat's eyes.
Glass Beads - Czech glass beads are renowned for their excellent craftsmanship and are made of high quality glass. The vivid colors will not fade.
Beading Wire - We use the highest quality beading wire available. It is nylon coated stainless steel 49 strand wire.
Ribbon - High quality grosgrain ribbon or satin ribbon is used in our hair accessories. Grosgrain ribbon has a textured surface with helps grip hair. All ribbon ends have been heat treated to avoid fraying.
Jewellery Care
To ensure your jewellery stays as beautiful as when you purchased it, store sterling silver jewellery in an air tight plastic zipper bag to help prevent tarnishing and scratching. Clean with a jewellery polishing cloth. Do not use liquid jewellery cleaner as it will take the oxidation out of the sterling silver.
Avoid wearing your jewellery whilst sleeping, swimming or showering and avoid exposure to harsh chemicals and cleaners.
Photo Bracelets
Please note that our Photo Bracelet photo frames are not water proof and contact with water may damage your photo. Although the pictures are somewhat protected by a thin clear cover, it is recommended that you do not wear your Photo Bracelet where it may come in contact with water. The photo frames are made from a mixture of metals which may contain some nickel. Individuals with nickel allergies, should consider one of our sterling silver bracelets.
Safety
All jewellery has been made using the highest quality materials, however children should always be supervised whilst wearing jewellery. Special care is to be taken with children under the age of 3 as all jewellery has small components which can cause a choking hazard. We recommend jewellery be removed prior to sleeping. Our name bracelets use a safety feature of a sterling silver split ring (like a key ring) for the clasp to be attached to. This split ring will break before the beading wire if the bracelet was to get caught. This is to ensure that the child would not get injured and that there would only be three pieces (the bracelet, the charm & the split ring) to pick up instead of numerous small beads EVERYWHERE.
Our hair accessories have also been designed to be worn and not eaten! As always, special care is to be given to children under the age of 3 and we advise removing all hair accessories prior to sleeping.
Returns, Resizing or Restring Policy
We are happy to offer a 30 day guarantee against faulty materials or faulty manufacture. Please contact us and we will gladly repair or replace your purchase. If you require your jewellery to be resized, please return it to us (at your cost) within 14 days and it will be resized for free. Please ensure your jewellery is returned to us in protective packaging to avoid damage. If after this time you require it to be resized, a small fee will be applicable. Please contact us to discuss.
WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES IF YOU HAVE SIMPLY CHANGED YOUR MIND AS A MAJORITY OF ITEMS ARE MADE TO ORDER. If you are unsure, please contact us prior to purchasing.
If an additional family member comes along after you have purchased a Mother or Grandmother bracelet, simply return the bracelet to us and we will restring it with the additional birthstone/s. A small fee will be applicable and your existing beads will be reused.
